Opposite questions same answers?

I asked my little sister this afternoon:

Do you want to eat? Her answer: no. Then, right afterwards, I asked her: don't you want to eat? Her answer: no.

At the time I didn't really get it, but then I figured that it's rather strange that two closed questions that seem to be opposite each other have the same answer; and this is still logical!
